Tanner & Puckett were members from Gid Tanner's Skillett Lickers i.e.Tanner=fiddle, Puckett=vocals & guitar.
Thompson was a blind singer from NC. Puckett was also blind.

This record is the first "Country" release in the UK. There had been an issue earlier of a Vernon Dalhart record, but this was from his operatic period, prior to him becoming a Country artist.
