JLC135 8th Mar 2019		Having just looked very intently at the labels of KS-132, 197 and KGC-101 (from my collection), I can tell you that the raised and slightly textured label area makes it look like the labels are circular when they are in fact still octagonal.

doormanperdomo 8th Mar 2019		Thanks JLC135 presumably when Coronet switched to 45 rpm, their printers ditched the octagonal cutting forme.



JLC135 7th Mar 2019		doormanperdomo: Those "tears" are not related to the label. The black surround is the run-out area of the record.

Russell van Hooff SUBS 6th Mar 2019		Thankyou scrough Yes, doormanperdomo, the label is an octagon. I believe Australian CBS Coronet labels are the only octagonal label for 78s in existence.



scrough 5th Mar 2019		Many were submitted showing much of the disc run-out area and then sent for editing by mods. So this time I edited them to an octagon. No label data was lost.
