 My guess is that EMI may have actually had ownership in Decca Australia. That said, it would not prevent Decca UK from establishing and independent outlet for non UK London signed artists such as the USA's Teresa Brewer and making a side deal for the distrivution. Had this psuedo-independence of London not been so, then Brewer's records would have been on Decca in the UK instead of London

 Yeah, I wish there was an easy way to date these records. Unfortunately many Australia only releases have little info on them it seems. I've only just caught the 78rpm record bug, but I brought a bulk lot of over 1,000 records. I've got many to slowly list on this database. I'll add that the record is from 1950, the UK release is dated then also, so pretty conclusive.

 Probably mid-1950 for this, as the US release charted in April of that year. I'd still like to know how Australian Record Company got the rights to London when parent label Decca was distributed by E.M.I. in Australia!
