 As is documented in commentary on other discs in this database (see Vocalion 05080) there was confusion about the A-side song in the beginning. It first appeared as Back To The Saddle, credited to Cherokose. It becomes Back In The Saddle on this version, but is till credited to Cherokose. Eventually, however, the song, retaining the Back In The Saddle title, would be credited to Gene Autry and Ray Whitley and would stay that way. It has been suggested, and plausibly, that the song was orginally confused with "Born To The Saddle" written by Eddie Cherkose.
