 They misspelled Leiber as Leibler on this label, but that's in line with a more or less obvious lack of external production values.

This was a surprisingly good version of a tune (Hound Dog) that would be so much more popular for everybody else. Freddy's delivery was probably just a little too like Bill Haley's and the dog barks may have been just a bit too cute, but the band had a good sound and the sax solo in the middle was excellent.

They switched targets to Nat King Cole and his jump style bands with Move Me Baby. They didn't do horribly, but they didn't swing as well as Cole did. The guitarist got some of the trio guitar sound and the vocalist caught a little bit of the Cole vocal quality. The whole thing sort of crash lands at the end. They may have gone to the studio too soon on this side.
