cyeaman SUBS 30th Jun 2023		This is the first pressing, which incorrectly credits the B side performance to Jess Stacy and his Orchestra. It is actually a light classical selection of European origin that was recorded several years earlier by Hal Bedell and his Orchestra. Naturally, when record buyers and music critics heard it, they objected. One critic, writing for Jazz Information (January 5, 1940) called Harem Party an "inexcusable atrocity". The record company issued an apology, calling the mislabeling an "unfortunate error", and quickly reissued the record with corrected labels.
