The Phono-Cut Record Co. was the first American record company (beside Edison) that made a vertical-cut record in the United States. It required a special sapphire ball stylus to play properly. The company was in business from 1910 to 1913. Since discography on this label is hard to find, I estimate date of record to be around 1911. The Phono-Cut label is considered to be an uncommon record label, if not a rare record label.
