 Alan Sutton's "Pseudonyms on American Records 1892-1942" identifies Al Foster as "usually" a pseudonym for Sid Garry. He identifies Larry Holton as a pseudonym for Harold "Scrappy" Lambert. The ODP agrees with regard to Al Foster's identity and might be viewed as in agreement with Larry Holton's. Holton is equated with one R. Haines by the ODP, which is probably Ralph Haines, a known pseudonym most commonly associated with Scrappy Lambert. Per Sutton, the Haines pseudonym is also known to have been used by William Robyn and "several others", so ODP's agreement must be considered as somewhat hedged.
