Apparently 3 different recordings were used for Banner 6389-A; this one has stamped matrix 8724-1 (label matrix 2240), with label credit to Hollywood Dance Orchestra and vocalist Ralph Haines (pseudonym for Rodman Lewis); 78 Online Discography lists this take as the Royal Marimba Band with vocalist Harry Haley; some issues may have a-side credit to Buddy Blue and His Texans with a different stamped matrix; Take 1 recorded May 1, 1929
