 Dolores of Dolores and the Bluebonnet Boys was Dolores Fariss. She is probably the same person who wrote Bonnie Blue Eyes, although her last name is incorrectly spelled in the composer credits. It was correctly spelled on her earlier Lasso recording of the Austin Waltz. At one time, Dolores's daughter-in-law was looking for help finding copies of Dolores's records on Lasso and Macy's to replace copies that had been stolen from Dolores before she died. As of this writing, a Google search will still turn up at least one of those internet requests.
