You have posted the Army's issue of the V Disc series. The previously posted release with the same catalog number is part of the Navy's issue of their V Disc series. There also is a third Marine Corps series of these discs. The Navy and Marine Corps releases have the same catalog numbers, but the Army series does not.

This particular Army issue was a part of the "L" release package released in September, 1944. The Navy release was part of that series "N" release package, issued in September, 1945.

The information regarding a possible secondary issue with the catalog number 269 is incorrect.

 Different release with same Cat# 270 already uploaded. No idea why although archive.org here indicates this #270 may have been listed elsewhere as #269? Release date 1944 - not 1945?
