slholzer 5th Jul 2017		Sutton's "Pseudonyms on American Records, 1892-1942' identifies Bob Green's Dance Orchestra on Side A as Sam Lanin AHO. Chas. Dickson is shown as "usually" Irving Kaufman, with one known exception on another label. The Majestic Dance Orchestra is certainly a pseudonym also, but Sutton offers no specific identity for this disc. Chas, Nelson is used by both Arthur Hall and Irving Kaufman on Oriole. The numbers at the bottom of the labels are controls, I think, rather than mxs, and probably don't imply that the two tracks were made at the same session or by the same band and vocalist. The ODP has them nearly 140 numbers and 3 months apart, agreeing with the Lanin ID on side A and offering no suggestion for Side B.
