 Thanks, scrough and molemilton.
Seems, that "LeJune" is not correct. (And the notes of the Goldband-LPs
are not correct, too)

It's LeJeune on the label even if it's a mistake, so we'll leave it as the label. But I've linked it to the main Iry LeJune discog.

His name has sometimes been spelled as 'LeJune' but see:

http://www.knowla.org/entry/1093/ or

http://earlycajunmusic.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/lacassine-special-iry-lejeune.html or

http://acerecords.co.uk/cajuns-greatest-the-definitive-collection

or any of the other multitude of internet references to Iry LeJeune.

John Broven is generally acknowledged as the world's leading authority on Cajun and Louisiana music. Drop him a line through his website: http://www.johnbroven.com He is a friendly chap and would willingly reply.

Information on GOLDBAND LP 7740 credit this recording to
Iry LeJune (not LeJeune). So his real name was LeJune and
it must be a spelling error. Compare his Goldband-recordings.
By the way: The band is "Virgel Bozman's Oklahoma Tornadoes"

Why? Iry LeJeune was a very popular Cajun recording artist until his tragically early death in 1955. Love Bridge Waltz was probably his best known recording.

Name of artist mis-spelled: Must be: "LeJune"
