This may well be a re-pressing from just before the label folded. I based my dating on these variables:
- The 'I' in the small 6 point Gothic Condensed No. 4 type used in "Instrumental" is the steel-beam variant first used by Columbia Bridgeport in March 1952 (before then, they used a regular stick version of that letter)
- In the listing of instrumentalists, a lower case 's' was used in two different variants, one used from the 1920's, the other introduced into the collection of characters in '52
- The use of 8 point Erbar Bold Condensed for 'Jam Session Series' - a font I've never seen on any pressings from the ill-fated Kings Mills, OH plant of Columbia (which closed in spring 1948, just before the label introduced the LP record to the public)
If, on the other hand, Kings Mills did press this in 1948, before leasing to King (which used both Columbia's Bridgeport and Kings Mills plants before establishing their own pressing facilities), I can confirm that plant was the first to use the steel-beam 'I' in the 6 point Gothic Condensed No. 4 type, prior to Bridgeport.

This record probably came out as early as 1947. Sensation leased masters to King Records as early as 1948/1949. If this record is dated 1952 it perhaps its last gasp as a re-pressing of earlier release. 1952 was the year the label folded.

By the label fonts (from Columbia's Bridgeport, CT plant), this would have to have been released after 1952.
