cyeaman SUBS 30th Jun 2022		In putting together the complicated jigsaw puzzle the early New York Recording Lab discography is, Guido van Rijn and Alex van der Tuuk identify the A side as mx. 165, recorded ca. November 1917. The Burr recording on the B-side isn't given a matrix number, but is stuck immediately after mx. 117, another recording by James Roberts titled "Send Me Away With a Smile", which was released on both Paramount 2027 and 2034. These were recorded sometime during Fall 1917. "I Don't Want To Get Well" strikes me as a rather bleak title. However, the sheet music depicts a wounded man in a hopsital bed gazing lovingly at his nurse, so I suppose context matters.
