W.B.lbl 12th Feb 2020		According to a late 1942 Billboard article about the shellac shortage brought about by the war, the pressing plants that handled Capitol at the outset were Clark Phonograph Record Co. of Newark, NJ; Scranton Record Co., Scranton, PA (which Capitol would later acquire and own through 1973); and Allied Record Manufacturing Co., Los Angeles, CA (corporate predecessor to Allied Record Co. which would press LP and 45 product for Capitol after 1986). Based on the label fonts, pressing rings or deep grooves, Allied would have pressed {Images #819899 & 819900}, and Scranton {Images #819901 & 819902}. Clark pressings would have had a smaller pressing ring closer to the spindle hole as well as the larger deep groove.
