Notes Baritone solo - artist is uncredited on label Incorrectly labeled "from Robin Hood" Announced: Sung by Mr. Franklin, Climax Records "Mr. Franklin" is likely short for Mr. Ed (Edward) Franklin, itself an alias for Emilio Eduardo de Gogorza Globe mx. 43 was recorded in New York, NY ca. 1901 This matrix may have subsequently been remade by another artist. Note that de Gogorza recorded this selection many times for many other labels between 1900-1909. These were issued both under his real name or as either "Ed Franklin" or "Herbert Goddard".
