The A-side is incorrectly listed in Rust's American Dance Band Discography as issued on Puritan 11173.

Not mentioned in Rust, but of some interest, is the fact that the A-side also appears to have been issued on the immediately preceding number, Puritan 11136, paired with another track by the Majestic Saxophone Sextette, "Nobody Lied".

The ODP lists a version of Puritan 11137 with two entirely different tracks. One, "Loveable Eyes" by Eddie Davis' Orchestra, is listed in the American Dance Band Discography as issued on Puritan 11130, not 11137. The other, "Thru The Night" by the Frisco Syncopators (certainly a pseudonym) does not appear in the Frisco Syncopators chapter as a cross-reference to a real identity or as a yet-to-be identified track. Nor is there any reference to the Frisco Syncopators on Puritan 11137 in Sutton's "Pseudonyms on American Records 1892-1942".

A glimmer of light might be derived from the fact that the Eddie Davis listing in Rust shows three tracks made at the same session, two with mx. numbers included, one without, that being "Loveable Eyes". Per Rust's notes, the other two tracks were issued under the Frisco Syncopators name. Sutton indicates that the same name was used for Eddie Davis' orchestra on Puritan 11130, but does not identify the title or titles involved. It would all tie together nicely if the ODP's rogue version of 11137 were actually 11130 and "Thru The Night" was an unlisted Eddie Davis track. On the other hand, the re-use of the A-side on 11137 could have been a mistake, and the "rogue" 11137 may really exist.
