The ODP opines that the Gotham's Favorites are Sam Lanin's band. Rust's American Dance Band Discography lists this title under Lanin's name at the same date as the ODP (c. June, 1921), but does not list this Regal issue, showing only Em 10411. Sutton's "Pseudonyms On American Records 1892-1942" lists Gotham's Favorites as a pseudonym for Sam Lanin on Regal, but only lists three Regal issues, of which this is not one. Under the circumstances, I would say Lanin has to be the chief suspect for the true identity.

There is no listing for the Liberty Dance Band in Rust's American Dance Band Discography, either in its own right or as a pseudonym for somebody else. Neither the ODP nor Sutton offer any clues as to its identity, although the ODP offers a recording date of May 30, 1921, so perhaps it is a legitimate organization, regardless of how much it smells like a pseudonym.

Change that- the correct name is Straus as on the label [corrected, mod]. The ODP lists the A side composers as Oscar Strauss and Ford Dabney. The label only shows "Straus".
For the B side the ODP lists the composers as Buck-Stamper-Friml. The label only shows "Stamper-Friml".
