slholzer 1st Jun 2017		J.B. Lenoir had a perennial problem with people mis-spelling his name. Even within the confines of a single label's product you could find it spelled Lenor (as here), Lenore, or Lenoir (which is correct). He pronounced it La Nore, which probably accounts for some of his problems. Perhaps he wasn't really sure himself how it should be spelled. He never had a problem with his given name, however, which Wikipedia tells us was simply J.B. Like the S in Harry S Truman they don't stand for anything, they simply are what they are.
