cyeaman SUBS 9th Dec 2022		"Cement Mixer" was a surprise hit, in part due to a give-away offer on Alex Cooper's "Klambake Kitchen" broadcasts. Cadet was overwhelmed by its success and reportedly found further releases "impossible to handle" until they expanded their operations. This expansion included opening of a Kansas City pressing plant and distribution center. Unfortunately, Cadet never replicated the success of "Cement Mixer", and the company disappeared in the late 1940s.
