Allan Sutton's "Pseudonyms on American Records, 1892-1942 contains an assignment of the pseudonym Nat Walters to Ernest Hare. Per Sutton's entry, the information comes from Jim Walsh (an early pioneer in pseudonym research) and is not identified to a label, which probably means Sutton has not been ably to personally confirm it but feels the source is reliable.

Sutton states that Bob Green's Dance Orchestra was used "indiscriminately" as a pseudonym at Oriole. Sutton lists uses of the name that have been identified to eight different bands, but this disc is not among them. The named candidates include Sam Lanin, Adrian Schubert, Nathan Glantz, Al Lentz, Joe Candullo, Harry Reser, Willie Creager, and Devine's Wisconsin Roof Orchestra. The ODP would add Billy James to the list but did not venture to identify this track either.

Sutton shows the University Boys as a pseudonym for Harry Reser. Rust lists the track under Reser's name but omits this issue from the list. He does refer to the use of this pseudonym by Oriole for another track cut at the same session, however. The ODP does not venture to identify the band but the listing of the track with the same mx and date would seem to force a conclusion of agreement with Rust.
