Both these sides are almost certainly pseudonymous.

Oriole 292 is chronologically earlier than any of the discs that appear in Rust's American Dance Band Discography under the name of Billy James' Dance Orchestra. The Side A track is not among those issued as by Billy James and positively identified to various bands in Sutton's Pseudonyms on American Records 1892-1942, nor does it appear in Rust under any of the bands to which Sutton has attributed other Oriole discs issued in James' name at about the same time. By weight of numbers, Sam Lanin AHO are the most likely candidate, but it still isn't isn't there in Rust.

According to Sutton, the Lucky Strike Orchestra is usually Nathan Glantz AHO. This disc is not among the Oriole discs identified as exceptions by Sutton, but neither does it appear under Glantz's name in Rust's American Dance Band Discography. Lou Gold recorded the title c. November 13, 1924 for Plaza, but Rust does not show any Oriole issues. For the moment, Gold is my prime suspect for the true identity of the Lucky Strike Orchestra on Side B.
