 Just listened to the two "I'm gonna yodel my way to Heaven" versions.
They are identical! Not two different versions, only one.

 The best available sources confirm that these two tracks were recorded in 1931. It should be noted however, that Varsity was not founded until 1939, so the release date of this particular disc could not be 1931.

A great many sides were resurrected from various sources by Eli Oberstein and re-issued during Varsity's brief life-span, sometimes using pseudonyms. These tracks both originated with the Crown label at a session dated c. May, 1931, in New York. According to Tony Russell's "Country Music Records, A Discography, 1921-1942", however, while the "Mountain Boy" track on the illustrated disc is the same as the one on Sterling 293014, the "I'm Gonna Yodel My Way To Heaven" track on this disc is not the same as the one on Sterling. Russell says that side was drawn from Melotone stock and was recorded in New York on May 19, 1931.
