The winner of the "Name-My-Song" contest was announced on the Wednesday, 23 November 1949 episode of "The Great Gildersleeve" starring Harold Peary. The label on this record says Gildersleeve's $50,000 "Name-My-Song" Contest, but on the broadcast, the grand prize winner Miss Anita Witherall (sp?) wins a $!,000 weekly prize and a $5,000 grand prize...
