 Recorded for Decca USA on 19 December 1938. Issued on Brunswick UK 02718 (number at bottom of the label), c/w "Just a Kid Named Joe".

 I think the continuous note on the B side is a test signal. Some vinly LPs had them on the promo copies. The label here looks like a standard white label, so I would guess this is a promo copy.

 I have a similar (though double-sided) 78 by Leadbelly with the same sort of strobe-edged label and handwritten artist/title.

No idea whether they were demo's or some sort of home recording.
