 Roy Collins' Dance Orchestra was a commonly used pseudonym on Oriole and related labels. Rust does not cross-reference it to an appearance of either of these tracks under any band in the American Dance Band Discography, nor does Allen Sutton provide an identity in Pseudonyms on American Records, 1892-1942.

The ODP (78discography) ventures to assign "Tenderly" to Adrian Schubert. In point of fact, both of these titles appear in the Schubert listing of the American Dance Band Discography, at about the right time for this recording. The use of control numbers on the labels prevents a definitive identification of the Oriole issues with the Plaza tracks listed there, but it seems likely that they are the same. True to an all-too-frequent pattern, Rust does not seem to have been aware of the Oriole issues, or possibly he just failed to see through the pseudonym sufficiently to place the disc.

Assuming the Schubert identity is correct, "Honey Bunch" (mx 6517-1(per ODP)-3(per Rust)) was recorded in NY, c. March 22, 1926. Irving Kaufman is proposed as the true identity of vocalist Chas. Dickson. "Tenderly" (mx 6547-3(take per ODP)) was recorded in NY c. April 5, 1926. Rust does not indicate a vocal on the track. The ODP assigns this vocal also to Irving Kaufman.
