Redpunk ● 10th May 2022		Mine is an A4 printer as well and providing the 78 is not heavily dished the method works and shellac will flex under pressure as long as you don't press too hard all will be fine. So far I've added over 19,000 78 images and no breakages so far.



Lovinda 8th May 2022		I have done that sometimes with LPs, but not sure if it works with shellac records? They are not so flexible (and also very brittle!). My scanner is a regular A4 (HP ENVY 4504), so part of record not even touching the glass.



Scratchy45 5th May 2022		OR - if you can't run the scan and hold the lid at the same time - place a heavy object on the scanner lid.



Redpunk ● 4th May 2022		Probably the disc is not quite flat the remedy for this is to place your hand on the scanner lid as it scans and apply some pressure and that should rectify the blurring.



Lovinda 4th May 2022		Not sure why A side is blurred after scanning, as B side is perfectly sharp. I scanned it several times, but ended up blurred every time! Anyone got an idea why?
