 That may well have been the “A” - it’s generally assumed that the lower matrix number is the A side, and I think that’s why I added the tracks in that order. It seems to be particularly true when the numbers are consecutive (say, 351/352), rather than out of sequence (351/354). However, original label listings may be the best guide to the top side, or trade advertisements.

Decca and the labels it took over (Rex and Imperial, Eclipse and Broadcast too?) had designated A and B sides printer on their labels in the 30s, but I don’t think it came back in vogue until the 45rpm era, and then not until the 60s or 70s?

 Listed as a March release in the Missing Hits Book. Mistakes also the track credited, which due to the popularity of the number of people recording that was probably the A side.
