 The one thing about this particular record is that it has a DT-48 tax stamp, meaning, if I'm not mistaken, it was pressed and sold in 1948, yet was exported to Canada (or would that be import by RCA to Canada). Wouldn't that make the tax stamp a null issue?

Also -- the sessions were in 42 and 43, so these stayed in catalogue for quite a while it would seem

 My thoughts on the RCA Victor sticker are that this was added because the record was exported from the UK to Canada - which is where I bought the record (and where I am). At the time, Canada's relationship to the UK was more of a colonial nature than it is now.
