There is now another version of UR100 in the database with its own entry. The alternate version has a different B side (When He Comes Home To Me) with a vocal by Mata Roy. It also leaves composer Howard's name off of Boogie #1.

While I'm on the subject, there are three label variants of this version of UR100. Two of them are illustrated here. The third version is distinct in that the catalog number sits just atop the bottom one of the two parallel lines that bracket the center hole, while on the illustrated versions it is centered between the two lines. The third version is otherwise very similar to the first illustrated version, having no reference at the bottom of the label to the United Record Co. and a less robust artist credit font than the second illustrated version.

An ambitiously fast boogie woogie, it kind of left some of the musicians behind. The organ should have stayed home. The pianist and the clarinet are worth listening to. They carry the flip side too. I probably know who they are, but all of the handy references stop at 1942. Damn you, Brian Rust!

That's an appropriate song title for the first Juke Box release :-)
