| | Having consulted my copy of the Bolig discography, I have placed the accurate release date upon said record. |

| | John Bolig cites the release date as January 18, 1929, drawing from data on Victor's Blue "History" card for this record. I'm not sure what the January 4th date signifies. January 4, 1929 was the release date for Victor V-40000, the first issue in the "Native American Melodies and Old Familiar Tunes" series. However V-38000, the inaugural release in the "Hot Dance" series, was two weeks later. |

| | Vic V-38000 - image of the Victor dealer sleeve for this record added. It gives the date as Jan. 18, 1929, which I at first interpreted as the day to start selling, but was it the day to order extra records?. Can this be explained, considering the 4 Jan date mentioned as release date? The sleeve gives a short "review" of the music, and thus correctly mentions the "Vocal Refrain on Nonsense Words" for Nobody's Sweetheart. - On 2 other dealer sleeves, the dates are: V-38066 Joe Steele Aug. 10, 1929; V-38113 Morton March 21, 1930. On the Steele sleeve the number at left has been cut off, maybe for ordering. It has, below the cat.nr, an "order name" (I assume to avoid numerical errors) that is also on the review at upper right. |

| | Vic V-38000 - The incorrect labels are the original issue and should be rearranged. I have added the (correct) B-side of the 2nd edition, and both labels of the next label variant (RCA Victor Co at 6), which remain correct. The original West Coast issue is also incorrect, and thus was presumably released at the same time as the East Coast pressing. A later West Coast pressing has correct RCA Victor Company labels. B-side images added of both West Coast types. |

| | Added alternate (earlier?) A-side label, which promotes a vocal refrain that does not appear on this side. According to DAHR, George Thomas sung on mx. BVE-46095 Take 1, but not on the issued Take 2.
Later repressings of this record correctly show the vocal refrain on the B side label. |

| | Added image of B side label.
Despite the label reading "Dance Orchestra with vocal refrain" on Side A, there is no vocal performance on this track. However, there is a vocal refrain on Side B, although it is not indicated on the label. |
