Ian Marter - BiographyEnglish actor and author (1944-1986), best known for playing companion Harry Sullivan in the UK sci-fi series Doctor Who in 1974 and 1975. Later launched a second career as an author, writing numerous novelizations of film and TV productions, including several volumes adapting Doctor Who episodes for Target Books. Two of his Target novels, Doctor Who and the Ark in Space and Doctor Who and the Sontaran Experiment, were based upon storylines in which Marter himself appeared as Harry.
