Terrance Dicks - BiographyEnglish author and screenwriter (1935-2019), best known for his work on the UK TV series Doctor Who, on which he served as script editor in the early 1970s and wrote numerous TV storylines (some under pseudonyms like "Robin Bland"). Between 1974 and 1990, he was by far the most prolific contributor to Target Books' series of novelizations based upon Doctor Who episodes, and also wrote or co-wrote many spin-off works and, later, original novels based on the series. He continued to contribute original novels and some novelization work for the franchise after it was revived on TV in 2005, including for the spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures, with his final book-length work for the franchise published in 2008 (some additional writings were published posthumously). He also wrote the two major Doctor Who-based stage plays, The Seven Keys to Doomsday and The Ultimate Adventure. « Back to Biography Edit This Biography : Biography Credits
