n.b. no cat# of any kind, nor any sbn nor isbn: this is true of all uk five star p/bs, and strongly suggesting this was boxed out to their newsagents accounts by wholesalers, world distributors (manchester) (and possibly other newsagents wholesalers) and pretty soon thereafter remaindered, or else published as an instant remainder, there being no systematic way to order in initial stock, nor restocks, of any particular book published under this imprint by pbs ltd, victoria mills, pollard street, manchester m4 7au (uk)

the date of this edition may require emendation to 1972/3 (or very closely thereunto);
world distributors (manchester), with whom pbs ltd. seem to have had a very close relationship,
ceased to distribute five star p/bs and started distributing their own ensign books p/bs in 1974.
