gregs45s SUBS 19th Mar 2024		Book Keith Richards - Life (2010)	@Darbs2 Hi, i added it here as it is marketed as an Audio-Book and it has an ISBN number. It could be added to CD world as well as it is on a CD format, but it's true home is in Book World. I am of the opinion that all these Audio-Books should be added to Book World, which has been talked about in the past, but i believe that is still under consideration by the MOD's.

gregs45s SUBS 23rd Dec 2016		Book Julian Cope - Head-On : Repossessed (2005)	One of these "two-books-in-one"affairs,when you've read Head-On,which finishes about half-way through,you rotate the book 180 degrees,and read Repossessed from front to about half-way through.(there's probably a specific name for these out there;)
gregs45s SUBS 15th Dec 2016		Book Hugh Cornwell - Hugh Cornwell (2005)	@Lee Wrecker.Sounded like a very eventful gig Lee,certainly one to remember;),i see it was in Brisbane at the Queens Hotel,was/is that the large pub under the bridge in Brisbane?,only i've been to that pub to see a band funnily enough.The Stranglers was actually my first gig that i went to,at the Top Rank (now gone) in Southampton when i was a teen,i was determined to get to the front,and ended up sitting in a large speaker cab (couldn't hear for three days;)Have not got around to reading it yet,it's in a pile of stuff to either,read,listen to or watch,simply not enough hours in the day;)

gregs45s SUBS 20th Nov 2016		Book Mark Young - Classic Albums Colouring Book (2016)	Got this yesterday in HMV (half price with another purchase).30 album covers to colour in,great fun:).I have added a scan of one i've done (which took quite a while as you can imagine;) and whilst i wouldn't expect others to match the high standard set here;),it would be good to see other members efforts,like a sort of "Vision On" gallery :) (PS Please feel free to delete scan if a better one comes along,or if deemed a waste of site resources;)

gregs45s SUBS 16th Oct 2016		Book Hamish Champ - 100 Best-Selling Albums Of The 70s (2004)	This book goes by the total American Sales TP,as certified by the RIAA,so total amount of platinum and multi-platinum awards (each platinum representing at least 1,000,000 units),you're quite right in that it includes sales up to the present day (2004).To quote from the book "The lists in this book are based on US album sales.The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) certification scheme only dates back to 1973 and was for much of the decade fairly haphazard,multiple-platinum awards were not created until the mid-1980's.UK panel sales-figures based on sales to a very limited number of outlets-date back to 1969,but the multiplier used to convert these into national figures changed frequently and records of the changes are not always available.The record companies themselves did not always release sales figures and where figures do exist they are rarely up-to-date."And no,compilations are not included,the highest rated Beatles album(and their only entry) was in fact Let It Be at No.64 with 4,000,000 sales(although there are 25 albums in total with 4,000,000 sales also;).There are quite a few surprises,although it would differ quite a bit i would imagine if it could have/were to have been based on UK sales instead.Interesting read though.
