kab2112 SUBS 12th Nov 2024		Book Robbie Busch - Rock Covers (2023)	Called into a sshop this morning looking for a prersent for a mate. Didn't get one.... but.... Got this for myself. not cheap at £20, but there you go.
kab2112 SUBS 7th Oct 2024		Book Various Contributors - Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide 2026 (2024)	Just had a "Quick Flick" through to check on some of my vinyl records that are worth a bob or two.. Prices are holding well and seem to be on the increase in some cases.
kab2112 SUBS 5th Mar 2023		Book Jeremy Clarkson - Diddly Squat (2021)	Bought this for my wife at a knockdown price from "The Works" on Saturday. She's generally not a Jeremy Clarkson fan but loved his Amazon series about Didddly Squat. Can't wait for the next series. She also likes him on "Millionaire" I like him on Top Gear and other motoring programmes although he's not everyone's cup of tea.
kab2112 SUBS 1st Dec 2022		Book Various Contributors - Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide 2024 (2022)	Had a good clearout recently and decided to part company with six previous issues of this excellent reference book. I took them all to a charity shop where a friend of mine helps out. She later told me that within a few minutes of them being put on the shelf, they were all bought by the same guy @ 50p each [paperbacks 50p - hardbacks £1 unless marked otherwise]. He got the 6 for £3 - a bargain.

We are in agrreement about that. Wait and see what Admin think. Brochures and guides related to safety, roadcraft, appliances, etc. can go in the one I'm thinking of creating.

I have now decided that a new world dedicated to Instruction manuals, Owners manuals, Information leaflets etc could be crreated in 45spaces. I have now used the new system and "suggested" the new world on 45spaces and await the go ahead by Admin unless they consider that it may contain similar items to those in "books" world here. Wait and see.

kab2112 SUBS 7th Jul 2020		Book Yamaha EQ-330 Natural Sound Graphic Equalizer - Yamaha Corporation (1989)	I still have this Equalizer that I bought about 1989. Haven't used it for a few years but it was working well before storage on the attic, where it still is. I had it connected to an older Yamaha amplifer, Yamaha tape deck, Yamaha CD player, Technics Tuner and a Technics record deck from the 1970's which I still use. I stll have all the other s in the attic.

It's been in a box in the attic since then and I came across it looking for something else. At the time a book geek I know said it looked like a first edition and wanted to buy it. As I had it given to me, I declined his offer.

kab2112 SUBS 16th Apr 2020		Book Hugo Wilson - The Encyclopedia Of The Motorcycle (1995)	This book was given to me recently by a lady who lives over the road. Her husband sadly passed some time ago. I bought a 1959 BSA Super Rocket from him in the 1970's. The receipt was still in the book - £25 - bought on 11 April 1997 from W H Smith in Bangor. I've added a scan of it

kab2112 SUBS 5th Feb 2019		Book Frank Zappa - The Real Frank Zappa Book (1989)	About halfway through reading this book. He was certainly "Different".as a chlld and in his teens. I did see him perform with The Mothers at a festival in the very early 1970s'. His music was also very "different" I have a few CDs and still can't decide if I like them or not Hmmm???

I seemed to find it familiar in some ways but didn't recognise the covers. It turns out that the same book was issued in a different cover in 2015 which i already have. Glad I only paid £3 for it.
