Should I add it as a different book? I used to have a version with a yellow cover with the Ramones (I think) on the cover. Once I had this version but lent out like I did with the yellow cover copy but never returned but that didn't surprise me. Different or the same is the question and the other question is why can't we link in this section or DVDs. I'll add mine as a different version as per the guidelines though. Ha, I'll make my own hyperlink to this copy in a comment. Solved my own problem while writing about it who says men can't multitask.

If you have the slightest interest in The Stooges, Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, New York Dolls, Ramones, CBGB's, The Bowery, Johnny Thunders, Stiv Bators, and the like this book is for you. The story is a an oral chronology of how it all happened told in snippets from all the key players and is brilliantly pieced together by Legs McNeil And Gillian McCain.
Truth, lies, sex, dope, triumphs and disasters, a real peak inside the underbelly of rock told by those who were there. A cracking read.

Before Its demise though the derelict old pub was used as a venue for several years. Usually the pub featured local rock acts such as Skyhooks (several gigs), Rose Tattoo and Cold Chisel.
Oh, eh, eh, eh did you mention hearing well I'm fairly an Iggy Pop gig in in the early 80's is directly responsible for my tinnitus. LOUD, LOUD, LOUD but still one of the best shows I've ever seen.

I saw the Stranglers in Brisbane (78/79) on the tour that was the inspiration for "Nuclear Device" you know "Brisbane men stay at home all night because I've outlawed all of the vice". The show I saw was in a pub crammed with about 500 people and the band walked off after about 30mins after a fight with some (about 20) of the crowd. Jacques unstrapped his bass and was wielding it as a weapon against the more crazed members of the audience. Jet Black was knocked senseless while playing under a hail of full beer cans. Hugh was gobbed on continuously and copped a few beer cans himself. David faired better being able to hide a bit behind his keyboards. So an eventful evening but not much of a show and a disappointing night for most in attendance especially the band. I should cut and paste this tale into the live section.
Anyway, what I was going to ask was, is it any good?
