Ward Lock The Youth's Library of Wonder and Adventure edition. Undated but all the books listed at the back of the book were first published prier to 1886.

267 pages plus pages i - iv (title page and preface) and, at the end of the book 14 pages advertising other Ward Lock books.
Preface and foot notes by translator.

First published in French in 1864 (revised and expanded in 1867) as "Voyage au centre de la Terre"

First English edition published in 1871 translated by an unknown hand as "A Journey to the Centre of the Earth", drastically rewritten with characters names changed.
Ward Lock's edition, published in 1877 was a more faithful translation by Frederick Amadeus Malleson. and titled "A Journey Into The Interior Of The Earth".
