ppint. 23rd Sep 2018		the hearst corporation avon books imprint near-identical first mmpb printings sharing merkin-printed covers, cover design, cat# H-107, cover art by paul lehr (signed "lehr", uncredited) cover price 45¢ 144pp. including titles, indicia etc. both printings bear only the 1962 copyright date of the novel, not the date of the mmpb edition which is presumably taken from the 2/1968 simultaneous fifth avon books mmpb printings refer to indicia to see if copy held was canadadian- or merkin- printed. no priority established nor liable to be. (should this be canadadian-printed, it would be appreciated if you'd check indicia & cover for any statement of whether the card cover was printed in canada or in merkia, and posting any statement found here.)
