ppint. 13th Jan 2019		n.b. though printed in canada, this edition/printing was not for sale in canadada - ballantine books' may've needed to keep the accounting for their three simultaneous editions separate, or the north american from the uk, commonwealth excluding canadada, & eu, at least, for accounting purposes - not least, the payments of royalties. . .



ppint. 13th Jan 2019		near-identical editions/printings sharing cover design, cover art by ray cruz (credited) cover price 95¢ 256pp. including titles, indica, table of contents, introduction, etc. refer to indica (and possibly also back cover) to see if copy held was canadadian- or merkin- printed. no priority established nor liable to be, both state first edition: march, 1970 n.b. the uk edition does not bear the 95¢ cover price near unicorn head adult fantasy logo nor printing alongside top of spine, and does bear uk, australian, kiwiiian & south african prices on back cover. refer to uk edition entry notes section for breakdown of contents for all three printings.
