ppint. 14th Jan 2019		pellucidar #5: #1: "at the earth's core"" (1922), q.v. for series listing and links. indica bears only the copyright year date of the first edition merkin hardcover (and of the first serialisation): this mmpb publication date taken from "a golden anniversary bibliography of edgar rice burroughs" henry hardy heins (1962), q.v. cover art and b+w title page illustration by roy krenkel jr. and frank frazetta (credited) but prob'ly both actually by roy krenkel cover price 40¢ 224pp? small pocketbook format, including titles, indica etc, end pp. advertising cover art retained through 50¢ G-737 1968, 60¢ 04631 1969 ° - where it is prob'ly incorrectly credited solely to frank frazetta, rather than to roy g. krenkel; 75¢ cat# 04632 1973 stated fourth printing introduces taller mmpb format and new cover art credited to and signed by frank frazetta which is retained through 04633 1974 also stated fourth, but at least fifth ace printing, $1.25 04634, $1.50 04635, $1.95 1978 04636 (possibly with isbn), 1980 04636 0-441-04636-3 $1.95 (= at least two printings on this cat#), stated 1/1982 04637 0-441-04637-1 $2.25 printing no. unstated, but at least tenth or eleventh ace printing, 04637-1 0-441-04637-1 (undated, likely 1982-3, tenth, eleventh or possibly twelfth printing) $2.25, 5/1985 0-441-04638-X $2.75 u.s.
