cover art by bart forbes (uncredited, art is signed ''b. forbes'')

no printing date in publishing history; dated from latest-published title in the end pp. advertising and the date of the next edition/printing.

third ace books mmpb edition (1977) bears cover art by boris vallejo, cat# 05357-2, appears to have been re-set (not checked by side-by-side comparison; pagination differs), q.v.

isbn13s for books start by placing 978 before the isbn10, which changes the final (check) digit.
