Book of humorous text pieces and comic strips spoofing the "children's annual" format, ostensibly edited by a deranged individual named Bert Fegg, who is credited as author on cover and spine (the book has no title page). Jones and Palin are identified as the actual authors at the rear of the book. Possible due to their relative anonymity, some copies had a sticker applied to the cover saying "A Monty Python educational product". Includes illustrations by Martin Honeysett and a comic strip illustrated by Frank Bellamy. Later published (with some Americanization of the text and new material) in the US as Dr. Fegg's Nasty Book of Knowledge, and later in the UK as Dr. Fegg's Encyclopeadia Of All World Knowledge. 62 pages.

David Whiteley 23rd Nov 2022		Added front and back cover with paper strip around the book, showing "New Silly Price 50p" The original price was £1.50, as shown on the back cover of my copy. I've also added the contents page. Note; The story on page 6 is titled "Across the Andes by Frog". The title was reused three years later in the BBC 2 series Ripping Yarns (series 1 episode 5) The story was rewritten for television and set in 1927 rather than 1971.
