Interwoven throughout the book, is a discography of rock n roll music of the 60’s, documented with 20,000 words of endnotes. It reads as a narrative through strings of stories describing Brock and his friend’s quest to become like The Beatles, only to find through adventures with siblings, schoolteachers, coaches, girlfriends, and parents - that they become Better Than The Beatles.
