june 1981 printing has new cover art by wayne barlowe, 0441-07899-0, cover price $2.25, is represented as the fourth printing, which must be wrong. the 07899 basic cat# is shared by possibly as many as four printings.

barlowe's art retained through at least the 7/1985 (claimed ninth) printing, 0441-07900-8

ppint. 29th Sep 2018		the isbn given in the "notes" field beginning "june 1981 ..." should be 0441-7898-2, and not ..7899-0, else not only is it incorrect, but the following paragraph is inconsistent with it. mea culpa.
ppint. 28th Sep 2018		following should be read - or even interpolated into! - the "notes" field, immediately above the last line that begins with "barlowe's art ...": claimed fifth, sixth and seventh (claimed by number lines progressively dropping numbers) (4 6 8 0 9 7 5 = claimed 4th)($2.25), (6 8 0 9 7 5 = claimed fifth)($2.25), (etc.) share the 6/1981 claimed fourth printing (i.e. not this logically fourth printing of the book)'s cat# 07898-2 & isbn 0441-07898-2, and give the author's original copyright date. claimed eighth printing 1/1983 cat# 07899-0 & isbn 0441-07899-0 (it is also reported that the seventh printing may share this couplet of cat# & isbn.)
