A second edition of a novel first published as part of the New Adventures line by Virgin Books, originally Doctor Who New Adventures. By the time Dead Romance was published, Virgin had lost the rights to the BBC TV series, so the novel, while featuring characters that had appeared in Doctor Who novels (such as Benny Summerfield), contains no direct reference to the show itself. This reprint edition includes text corrections and a new introduction by Miles. A tie-in to Miles' Faction Paradox series, which itself was once connected to Doctor Who by way of a few novels but later was separated from that franchise to stand on its own. Trade paperback, 240 pages.
