1st American edition of the 1977 novelization adapting the Doctor Who storyline The Masque of Mandragora by Louis Marks (Philip Hinchcliffe was the story's producer for television). This edition is #8 in a series of American reprints of Doctor Who books originally published in the UK by Target Books/W. H. Allen and adds an introduction by Harlan Ellison and pages introducing the characters of the Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith.
