1st paperback edition. Novelization of a BBC Radio play spun off from the TV series, with Saward adapting his own scripts. This was the first Doctor Who novelization to not be based upon a televised production. As an expansion of the radio play, the Doctor unusually does not appear until 50 pages into the novel. Not numbered as part of the Doctor Who Library. 144 pages.
