Novelization of the four-epsiode storyline from 1978, adapting the teleplay by Douglas Adams. This publication completed the novelization adaptations of the serials in the "Key to Time" story arc that had been suspended more than 35 years earlier due to Target Books/WH Allen being unable to come to terms with Adams to adapt his story. This novel is based on Adams's first draft scripts and as such deviates from the televised story; in 2021, Goss published Doctor Who and the Pirate Planet (q.v.), a different novel that more closely adapted the televised storyline. In both cases, Adams is credited first on the cover, though he died long before either book was written. 416 pages.
